Bathtime Ideas for Elf on The Shelf

It's all very exciting here at Cuddledry HQ as this week we revealed the latest addition to our collection- the limited edition CuddleElf toddler towel! So far the response has been amazing and pre-orders are flying (skipping? jumping? leaping on clouds of magical glitter?) in to us. We're thrilled that you love the CuddleElf as much as we do!

To celebrate- and to help you out a little for this festive season- we decided to put together some bathtime ideas for Elf on the Shelf.

Please do let us know in the comments or over on Facebook and instagram your own ideas too- we really cannot wait to see your littles ones all dressed up as their favourite cheeky elf this Christmas!

Bathtime fun with the CuddleElf toddler towel

The brand new CuddleElf towel is available for a limited time only and we're taking pre-orders already, so if you want one you need to hurry! Made using our signature bamboo & cotton blend, each towel is gorgeously soft and super fun- a great gift for little ones, whether its part of the Christmas Eve box or to compliment Elf on the Shelf fun. Order now for October delivery and don't forget you can personalise it at the checkout too.

Elf on the Shelf

Take it to another level this year, plus get organised and ready with our handy ideas. Here are 10 bathtime themed ideas to help you out with your antics..

A marshmallow bath: fill a small bowl or container with mini marshmallows and pop your elf inside to take a sweet and relaxing dip!

Mirror messages: use a bath crayon to leave cheeky messages for your little one- jokes are always a big hit with this one.

Hitching a lift: use a Cuddleduck or other bath toy (boats are good) and float your elf on top for a surprising ride around the sink or bath.

Pamper time: use a bamboo washcloth to wrap your elf's body, and make a 'Cuddletwist' with tissue paper to create a special spa session for your elf

Gone fishing: if you have a stick, some string and some jellybeans or other small items, your elf can use the sink for a spot of fishing.

Rainbow bath water: add a couple of drops of natural food colouring to the bath water, or turn off the lights and pop some submersible lights into the water. Your elf turned the bathwater magical!

Shaving foam fun: use it to leave messages on the mirror, or to create small snowmen around the edge of the bath. You could also cover your elf with foam too!

Toilet roll trails: write a message on the empty tube, roll a small amount out of the bathroom for a cheeky trail, or simply wrap your elf up and wait for the little ones to discover him.

Hide and seek:  classic and easy to set up- there are lots of places to hide in the bathroom! Inside a toilet roll tube, behind the bath toys, in the toothbrush holder...

Time for a shower: another great hiding place- behind the shower gel, peeping over the door or from behind the shower head!
